Coronavirus testing at Budapest Airport

COVID-19 testing became available at Budapest Airport. Not just passengers, but anyone can have PCR tests or rapid antigen tests performed at the test center established in the landside area of Terminal 2B.

You can register online for the services of Universal Medical Covid-19 Test Center in a few minutes.

 

Avaliable COVID-19 tests:

  • PCR-test: HUF 19 500
    The results of PCR tests are sent by email within 24-48 hours.

  • Antigen-test (rapid): HUF 11 000
    The results are available within 15-20 minutes following testing, and are sent out by e-mail. 

  • Antibody-test (rapid): HUF 7 000
    The results are available within 15-20 minutes following testing, and are sent out by e-mail. 

  

Registration

 

 Registration process:

  • Fill out the form with your personal details on the registration page.
  • The testing fee can be paid online by credit card.   
  • After succesful payment you receive your unique QR-code by email.
  • At the testing center you can scan the QR-code contactlessly and have the requested testing.
  • You will receive the results by email.

Opening hours: 04:00-20:00 every day
(The opening hours could change / may be extended on some days, depending on the schedule or increased demand.)

Further information:

  • PCR tests and rapid antigen tests can be performed without fixing an appointment, only online registration is required. 
  • The registration is valid for 1 months after succesful payment. 
  • The test results can be requested in Hungarian or English language.
  • The registrations for tests are not transferable for other person.
  • We recommend that you should not eat, drink, smoke or chew gum two hours prior to testing.
  • If you do not receive any email about your registrartion or test results, please check your spam or promotion folder.
  • Universal Medical Covid-19 Test Center does not take responsibility if a passenger misses his flight due to waiting for the testing.
